Began to investigate how we can reduce energy use in our school.
Years 4 5 and 6 planted tree saplings along the school boundary area between the sports field and the allotments.
Years 1 2 and 3 worked with Sharon from Food4families who discussed vegetable seeds with us. They then planted leek, runner bean, tomato and cucumber seeds in seed trays and yoghurt pots. The pots were labelled with
takeaway coffee cups cut into strips (a useful recycling tip!).
Pur Junior members worked with Food4familites to continue with our garden design.
The Infant members planted sunflowers ready for the Southcote gardening show and watered all our other plants and seeds.
