Spring Term – January 2013
Our value for the term is ‘Freedom’
Welcome back to the beginning of a new term and the start of 2013. On behalf of all at the school may I wish you a happy new year and look forward to working in partnership with you during the year.
We would like to welcome our new School Business Manager Mr Patrick Mitchell to the school team and to our new nursery pupils and school starters to our school.
100% Attendance Terms 1 & 2
We had 62 children who had 100% attendance for Terms 1 & 2, well done.
Access to building
To ensure the building is secure, children are kept safe and their learning is uninterrupted, we ask that all parents note the following:
Parents of children in years 1-6 – please do not enter the building before or after school. Teachers are available to meet with you informally after school in the playground or at the classroom doors (for years 1 and 2) every day. If you need to get a message to teachers in the morning, please do so through the school office.
Foundation Stage Parents – you are welcome to come into class for a short period of time in the morning to help your children settle. Please enter and leave by the Nursery/Reception entrance (rather than via the school office). Many thanks for your cooperation.
Please note that the recommended period for your child to be kept off school if he/she has suffered from vomiting or diarrhoea is 48 hours from the last episode of diarrhoea or vomiting.
Please keep the school office up-to-date with all address and phone number changes. It is important that we can contact you in case of an emergency. Our texting service only works if you supply the correct numbers.
