Music plays a very important part in Cams Hill School and the department is flourishing. Click here for a calendar of events. Many children are involved in a variety of musical clubs ranging from lower school singers for years 7 and 8, upper school singers for years 9, 10 and 11, woodwind group and a violin ensemble. Some of these extra-curricular activities and ensembles are led by peripatetic music staff.
Music is taught in mixed ability classes in KS3 (60 minutes per week). There are two GCSE classes in each of years 10 and 11.
