Anything's Possible
Wescott Infant School
Wescott Infant School was judged "Outstanding" in its most recent Ofsted Inspection (December 2010). Please use the link under the tab "About Us" for a full copy of the Inspection Report.
One parent/carer commented "The school provides a positive learning experience for our child and gives outstanding information about what each child will and could learn. We have been given many chances to extend and build upon class learning through information sessions and open dialogue."
Welcome to Wescott Infant School.
Wescott is a small infant school which welcomes children between the ages of 4 and 7 years old. The school has been at the heart of the Wokingham Town community for over 100 years. We have 169 children on roll at present (March 2013) and have six classes across the school, with two classes in each year group.
At Wescott Infant school we believe 'Anything's possible'.
Our School Aims
Children are happy, inquisitive, confident and independent learners who reach their potential, are prepared for the future and understand their place in the world.
Learning experiences are inspiring, creative, exciting, fun, challenging and personalised to meet children’s individual needs. Outstanding learning and teaching ensures children make exceptional progress along their learning journey.
The learning environment is inclusive, safe, caring, friendly and welcoming where children take pride in their achievements and have the belief to succeed. We foster an environment where every individual is respected and valued.
We work in partnership with our school, local and global community.
We are proud to be an Extended Services school, part of the Wokingham Town East Extended Services Cluster.
Thank you for taking an interest in our school.
