NEWS FROM MR ROWE - May 2013

Congratulations to our girls’ Under 15 rugby team who make it all the way to the national finals.  In fact, they were very unlucky not to win the national championships.  Well done to the girls!  I am glad they enjoyed their well-deserved day at Twickenham.

It has also been enjoyable this year going to Ringsfield Hall with different year groups.  Every child in Years 7, 8 and 9 has had this fantastic opportunity.

As people will imagine, we are very busy at Sir John Leman at the moment; preparing Year 11, 12 and 13 students for exams, organising next week’s school prom and sending teams out to compete in various sports competitions including finals. 

Although we have always done well, our aim this year is to achieve the same breakthrough at GCSE as we have made at A Level.

Finally, a reminder that the summer uniform can be worn from 13 May.
