All Year 10 students at Brookfield will undertake a one-week work experience programme in July 2015. Students can choose from a small list of approved employers arranged through school (advertised from September onwards) or preferably arrange their own placement. Mrs Beards, the Work Experience Co-ordinator is on hand to help students find their ideal work experience placement.
Despite our best efforts, it is impossible to get enough employers to offer enough placements for all Year 10 students. Students who find their own placement tend to feel more relaxed and reassured before they start their work placement, as they have had greater involvement in the organisation and choosing.
Mrs Beards resides in the ICT Office near the staffroom. She is available to help students sort out their work experience placements every break and lunchtime except Friday Week 1 and Monday Week 2. You can also contact her directly on 01246 565827 to discuss any work experience matters.

You can search for placements that have been approved to take students in past years using different search criteria; distance from home, job type etc
We cannot guarantee that all of the contact and placement details for these placements are correct as they can vary from what was originally submitted. It may be best to see Mrs Beards, the wex co-ordinator before making contact directly with any employer.
