Art & Design: Year 7
In Year 7 students complete work which introduces them to various materials, skills, observational resources, artists’ work and ways of working. Most of the work is done in sketchbooks, which contain drawings, notes, experiments, information collected from the Internet, collected resources, photographs, etc. Through this work students develop their use of the VISUAL ELEMENTS – LINE, SHAPE, TONE, COLOUR, PATTERN, TEXTURE and FORM.
