St John Fisher

St John Fisher > HUMANITIES > HUMANITIES COMMUNITY LINKS > Literacy Cross over.

As part of the Humanities Specialist Status the History Department at SJFCHS are offering a unique opportunity. Whilst studying certain topics within KS2 it is clear that there is some cross over to the schemes of work undertaken at KS3. Why not take the opportunity to have your pupils work replied to. For example, letters asking what it is like to live through the Blitz can be replied to by our Year 9 pupils.

To the right hand side you will see a summary of what we teach throughout Key Stage 3 and roughly the time of year in which we expect to cover each theme.

See any way in which we could work together? Well, use the email link to get in touch.
