Temple Mill was opened in September 2001 as a completely new build Community Primary School; we are one form entry, all on one level, accommodating 30 children from Reception to Year 6 in each of the seven classes and we currently have room for 210 children at the school.
We welcome prospective parents to the school at any time during the school day. Please telephone Mrs Sutton our School Secretary, or Mrs Moon and Mrs Walkling our Administration Assistants, who will be happy to give you any information you may require. You may then, if you so wish, ask any one of them to make a mutually convenient appointment with Mrs Bright, our Headteacher who will meet with you to discuss your child's start at the school and to show you around.
In April 2008 we opened a brand new Nursery Class. This accommodates children from their 3rd birthday, 26 for the morning sessions and 26 for the afternoon sessions; we also run a lunchtime session. The Children's Centre at Temple Mill, also opened in April 2008 another new extension to our building. The Children's Centre has an extensive timetable of events as you will see if you click on Children's Centre button on the left hand side of this page.
