About Us
Cranham Primary School is located on the North East side of Worcester, close to junction 6 of the M5. It serves the local community of Warndon, Warndon Villages and Blackpole.
Children are taught in classes of no more than 30 and there are currently 2 classes for each year group. The school also caters for nursery age children in Cranberries-our own nursery. |

At Cranham Primary School we have high aspirations for all our pupils, coupled with a dedicated and hard working staff. Our aim is to develop the highest learning standards possible for each individual in a secure, caring environment. In addition we offer many varied opportunities through sport, music, art and computer technology. |
|
Parent involvement is highly valued. Parents are encouraged to help in the classrooms and to become involved with the school Friends Association. We run courses periodically to help parents to work with their children at home. |

This letter is provided for the school, parents and carers to share with their children. It describes Ofsted's main findings from the inspection of their school.

Dear Pupils
Inspection of Worcester, Cranham Primary School, Worcester, WR4 9LS
Thank you for the welcome you gave me when I came to see how well you are learning. I enjoyed eating an egg laid by one of your chickens. The 'grow and cook' project is a good example of the interesting opportunities your school provides for you as part of its good curriculum. The school cares well for you and has high expectations of your behaviour. As a result, your behaviour is good and you feel safe at school.
The school provides a satisfactory education. The headteacher and teachers are working hard to help you to make faster progress and reach higher standards in English and mathematics. Over the last year, they have been successful in helping you to make better progress in writing, and this year they are concentrating their efforts on helping you to reach higher standards in mathematics. They are right to focus on mathematics, so I have asked them to press ahead and to make sure that new learning always builds on what you already know. I have also asked them to make sure that everyone, particularly the girls, is interested in mathematics lessons and concentrating fully.
Some of you told me and my colleagues how much you enjoy school, but there are a very few pupils who do not come to school every day. It is very important that everyone attends school whenever they can. You can help by attending every day unless you are ill.
I enjoyed being in your school, and hope that in the future it is even more successful in helping you to do as well as you possibly can.
Yours sincerely
Christopher Parker
