Welcome to Art Department at Windsor School
In the Art Department, we believe that all students should have the opportunity to access and enjoy the visual arts to develop their self esteem, regard to opportunity, diversity, citizenship, social justice, and creativity ability.
It is our purpose to prepare students to lead through art education towards greater critical thinking and awareness. The Department strives to maintain its position of excellence within the school through a challenging and evolving curriculum. We regularly look to supplement these activities annually through trips and the use of visiting professional artists. Through this rich variety of experiences our students are able to develop holistically so that they are able to engage in a variety of art forms in depth, fostering an appreciation and critical awareness of their own endeavours and those of others.
