Year 10 Parents Evening 5th June 2.30 - 5.45 pm - 20 May 2013

Year 10 Parents are invited to book a meeting with subject teachers for the afternoon of Wednesday 5th June (2.30 - 5.45 pm). An email was sent on Friday 17th May, followed by a personalised letter, sent home with students on Monday 20th May. Letters will be posted if a student is absent. The letter contains a personalised log in, to an online booking system at https://waingelscollege.parentseveningsystem.co.uk/. Bookings open at 6 pm 20th May. If any parent cannot book online, there is a contact name and telephone number in the letter.

On Friday 8th February
beating Piggott by a massive 72 runs in their first Lady Taverners match of the season.
Waingels 97 runs for 1 wicket, Piggott 25 runs for 3 wickets.
On Tuesday 12th March
beating Easthampstead Park and Charters to become Berkshire Champions of the Lady Taverners Indoor Cricket Tournament.
The team now go through to represent Berkshire at the Regional round at the end of April.

To all Parents/Carers – Advice for Cyclists
We are hoping to raise awareness of, and to seek your support, with ensuring the safety of our children on their journey to and from school. Letters were issued in June to all students. A copy of this letter can be viewed by clicking here.
Information on cycle safety can also be accessed from the Parents Homepage of this website where you can find relevant information from the Highway Code for Cyclists. In addition, there is a link to a national cycling proficiency qualification called 'Bikeability' which aims to improve the awareness of cyclists as well as improving their skills. Courses are available for children and adults alike, so it is never too late to get involved and may be an excellent way to promote cycle safety for your children.
Thank you for your support in this vital safety matter.
