Information Fair - 26 July 2010 - Barnsole Federation

INFORMATION FAIR

Our Information Fair went well, with lots of local services, clubs and support groups attending.

Parents commented on how useful it was, many of the children have been offered free taster sessions in various sports and clubs. Do ask us if you are looking for opportunities outside of the school day. Thanks you to Mrs Sargent and Mrs Hanniford for their work in organising the event.

Road Crossing - 02 June 2010 - Infant & Junior Schools

Road Crossing

Unfortunately we are not always able to provide a crossing patrol on the Sturdee Avenue, crossing. Recently a child was nearly knocked down outside the school. Please make sure children use the zebra crossings whether they are manned or not particularly children who come to school on their own.
We would be very interested in hearing from anyone who would like to train as a relief crossing patrol.

Lunch Money - Junior School

LUNCH MONEY

School dinner money is £1.90 per day (£9.50 per week) and is payable in advance.

Please put all lunch money in a clearly labelled envelope. Cheques should be made payable to "Chartwells".

If you have an outstanding amount owing to Chartwells for dinner money, please contact the office and we can arrange for payments to be made in instalments if necessary.

Parking in the area of the school - Infant & Junior Schools

Parking in the area of the school

Once again we need to ask you to be considerate to other people when parking in the area around the school Cars should not be parked in front of the entrance, the bus stop, by the wall.
Local residents are unable to walk on the pavements of side streets due to thoughtless parking on pavements.
Recently the council sent the CCTV car to the school and some parents may be fined for not parking properly.
