Dancedaze Workshops
16.01.12 to 27.02.12
Students will participate in a six week programme of dance workshops led by UK and International Dance Presenter, Rich Hawke. Students will learn elements of street dance and break dance, focusing on routines, group work, choreography, skills, tricks and freezes.
Bike Recycling Project
05.03.12 to 23.04.12
Students will take part in a six week, OCN accredited course, facilitated by Groundwork Derbyshire. During the course students will learn about safe tool use, the basics of bicycle mechanics and health and safety.
Film Making and Music Video Production
05.03.12 to 28.05.12
Students will take part in a ten week, OCN accredited course, facilitated by Groundwork Derbyshire. The course gives students the opportunity to learn about story boarding, digital video, film production, sound recording and camera skills.
Urban Canvas
02.05.12 to 11.07.12
During the summer term students will be able to work towards an Arts Council award with artist Pete Barber. The ten week graffiti art project will conclude in July with an exhibition for parents and staff.
