Hello everybody,
	I like swimming in ponds. The best ponds are on The Downs they are called dew ponds. There are also some lovely ponds in Stanmer Park. Lots of animals drink from them and sometimes birds like to paddle. The water is brown and still and there are no waves. I don't like waves. Some of my friends are labradors and they like big waves in the sea.
	When I went to my favourite pond in March there were lots of frogs swimming around together and there were big lumps of this jelly called frog spawn, it didn't taste very nice.
	When I went back to my pond on Saturday it was full of little black wiggly things called tadpoles. The frog spawn had hatched into tadpoles. Tadpoles grow into frogs they wiggle all around you in the water but they are not good to eat.
	I like it best if people throw sticks into the water for me. I always bring it back and have a big shake before I jump back in again. some times I shake water all over Trish and she gets really wet, it is such fun for her. When I got out of the water on Saturday it felt like there was something wriggling in my ear. I kept shaking my head to get rid of it. It felt like a tadpole.                                   This is me having a shake!
	Trish had a look in my ear but she couldn't see anything, she said it was just water. Would you like a tadpole in your ear?   Trish has such fun living with me.
