My hiding place
Print
Hello everybody,

I am going to tell you about my favourite spot in the garden. I have dug a brilliant hole and when I creep inside nobody can see me. It is a perfect spot to sit and look for cats.

I sit in my hole and wait quietly I can see the whole garden from my spot. I watch the seagulls on the roof and the neighbours hang out their washing. I just sit and wait.

There are two cats who live next door. Their name tags jingle as they walk along the wall so I can hear them coming before I can see them. I wait until they are close and leap out and bark. I can't reach them on top of the wall because it is high but I can jump up and down to give them a fright!

My hole is best in summer when there are lots of leaves on the bushes. It is a bit cold and frosty in my hole now and the ground is so hard I can't dig and make it any deeper.

Have you got any favourite hiding places?
Who do you like to jump out on and surprise?
