As a result of our outstanding Ofsted judgement, we were categorised as a High Performing Specialist School and offered a further specialism.  We opted to become a Leading Edge School and have been awarded that status from April 2008 onwards.  Leading Edge status and funding will allow us – 

1.       To develop and share good practice within the school; 

2.       To develop partnerships with a limited number of other secondary schools to raise standards;
