Year 9
In Year 9, all students receive one 50 minute lesson each week which is taught in mixed ability form groups - your teacher will be Mrs. Crooke or Mr. Dick.
You will use a diverse range of software packages including word processing, graphics, the Internet, spreadsheets, databases and 'Scratch' in completing the tasks set each lesson.
It is essential that you purchase a USB flash/pen drive or memory stick for your ICT work as you will need to take your portfolio from your user area at school to make improvements as part of your homework.
The computer network at the school operates on Windows XP and runs Office 2003 as well as a wide range of educational software - you will have access to your own workstation during each ICT lesson.
