As a Technology College we develop a visible and distinctive character which reflects the specialism and is embedded in the school's culture and values. We offer a strong technological and vocational focus. We make innovative use of ICT to raise standards and enhance quality of teaching and learning in design and technology, science and mathematics. We take a lead role in national initiatives and competitions to enrich learning opportunities for our learners, those in partner schools and the wider community. We build and extend partnerships with industry and commerce to support our technological curriculum and the management of our specialist plans. |

As we have gained National Healthy School Award we aim to support children and young people in developing healthy behaviour, to help to raise achievement, to help to reduce health inequalities and to help promote social inclusion. The four criteria areas we meet are: Personal, social and health education, including sex and relationship education and drug education; Healthy eating; Physical activity; Emotional health and well-being. |
