The wearing of the correct uniform while travelling to and from school and during the school day is very important to us. We believe that it sets the standard in terms of high expectations and a purposeful attitude towards work, while promoting the school and our ethos. We rely very much on the co-operation of pupils and parents in helping us to set and maintain high standards of dress and appearance.
Parents should be aware that the Governors of the school are keen that the uniform should be adhered to closely, and that in the last resort children who are not in school uniform could be excluded from school until they are properly dressed.
To ensure consistency and clarity, parents will be offered two recognised suppliers for purchasing some items of uniform.
- SPORTSWEAR INTERNATIONAL (SWI) - for online purchasing of the new school tie, jumper, PE kit and school blazer. These items will now all bear the school badge/name
- TRUTEX trousers and skirts be ordered from the Trutex website www.trutexdirect.com using the school’s code LEA00281SD
Equivalent items may be purchased from any High Street retailer or supermarket or Monica’s in Crowthorne High Street and must be Harrow grey in colour.
All items of uniform and PE Kit must be named (name tapes are available from Monica's) |

Outdoor Coats
Pupils should wear a plain coat, jacket or anorak. Tracksuit tops, fleece and denim jackets and anoraks with slogans, flags and large motifs are not suitable and are not acceptable. |

Jewellery
In general, jewellery is inappropriate at school and may not be worn. Pierced ears may be protected by the wearing of a single stud in each ear. No other earrings may be worn and no other body piercings are allowed. Studs should be small, plain and gold or silver coloured. For PE lessons, all studs should be removed for safety reasons. |
