Canopic Jar Drawings
Canopic Jars
We developed our drawing skills by working on an observational drawing of canopic jars, which were used to store the organs of people when in they were mummified in Ancient Egypt.
We looked very closely at the shape and then tried out different shading techniques to match the tone and texture on the jars.
