Sedlescombe School Does Have Talent!
On Friday February 10th the school hall was transformed into a buzz of excitement as children eagerly awaited the start of the Sedlescombe School Talent Show. The show, organised by Bethany and Tia from year 5, was an opportunity for children from all year groups to show off the many amazing talents they have. The money raised by entering and watching was to be given to the charity Chestnut Tree House, a hospice in Sussex which cares for children and young adults with life-limiting and life-threatening illnesses.
There was a range of acts with most of them based around music, singing or dancing.
Elliot (yr 6) did an excellent job hosting and introducing the acts. After each act the judges scored out of 10.
The competition was very close, and we are very proud of all the entrants, but the winners were:
1st Place: Jenna (yr 6) with an excellent dance
2nd Place: Sunisa (yr 6) with her brilliant flute playing
Joint 3rd Place:
Katherine (yr3) and Sophie (yr 5) with a great song and dance
Chelsie (yr4) with a super dance
Rhiannon, Olivia and Emily R (all year 5) with some super singing
