A Very Big Thank You!
A very big thank you to all those members of our school community, both children and staff, who wore jeans to school on 5th October to raise money for the Annual Jeans for Genes appeal. As a school we raised £200 for the charity, who support children with genetic conditions and also conduct research that could change children’s lives in the future.
We also thank all of those who contributed a box in our Link Romania shoebox appeal. We donated 21 shoeboxes of family essentials and gifts to the charity which aims to support families in Romania and other Eastern European countries that have very little money and where life is a daily struggle. The shoebox of gifts help families who often have to make a choice between buying food or fuel at Christmas time and buying presents is just not a priority. Hopefully through your kindness and generosity families will have something to smile about this Christmas.
