Shell Science Workshop
Years 4,5 and 6 enjoyed a science workshop by Shell where they learnt how to make a bandroller. The workshop helped to develop their science skills as children had to think about which variable on their roller to investigate the effect of. Children decided to either change the size of the wheels or the length of the band roller. After carefully measuring out their parts and constructing thier roller, they had great fun testing and finding answers to their investigation! Generally the bigger the wheel and the longer the roller the further it went.
