School Uniform
**Each item of uniform, including hats, scarves and gloves must be identifiable – name labels essential!
The wearing of uniform is compulsory and we ask you to ensure you send your children in (named) school uniform. The wearing of uniform shows a sense of pride and is an indication of priorities which are to work hard and to learn (not to be part of a fashion parade). Plimsolls, not outdoor shoes, must be worn in the school building as it is largely carpeted.
Our uniform is inexpensive and can be obtained from any clothing store. Sweatshirts, polo shirts and cardigans bearing the school badge are available from the school office at very reasonable prices.
The Allhallows uniform colours are royal blue and grey or black.
As a general guide our uniform is as follows:
Royal blue sweatshirt, pullover or cardigan.
White shirt / blouse / polo top
Grey or black trousers / skirt (not jogging bottoms or tracksuit bottoms or ¾ length trousers)
Sensible shoes for outdoor play (high heeled shoes and open toe sandals should be avoided for health and safety reasons)
Black plimsolls or a change of shoes for use in the school building
*** In the summer Royal blue & white striped or checked summer dresses or grey / black tailored shorts may be worn.
Wearing the uniform prevents the early morning arguments about what to wear, avoids unnecessary expenditure and establishes the habit for Secondary School.
