I have had a great Easter holiday. Trish was going away so I went to stay with some friends of hers called Dave and Jill and their dog Jazz. It was the first time I had been to their house but they like dogs and Jazz showed me where to find things. She let me drink out of her water bowl but she wouldn't let me eat her dinner.
There were lots of interesting places for me to sniff in her garden. They have a big garden and there were lots of new smells. Their garden smelled of foxes and cats. I like cats!
Something very exciting happened after dinner I discovered they had a cat. Yes a cat in the same house just waiting for me to chase it! It was such good fun. I chased it all round the house upstairs and down stairs it was a good game.
I growled and barked to make it run faster. The cat made all of it's fur puff up so it looked really big and fierce but that didn't stop me!
Dave heard the noise and he was cross. He shouted at me. The cat ran away and hid in the garden. Dave rang Trish and told her what happened. Dave and Jill thought their cat might not come back home if I stayed there.
Trish was cross because she wanted to have a good holiday without me. She had to ask some other friends who didn't have a cat to see if I could stay with them. I was in the dog house.
