Helping in the garden

Hello every body

I like gardening it is such fun. I like to dig best of all. I make big holes in the flower beds and dig up all the plants. Trish makes a big hole and puts the plants in and when she has finished and gone indoors I dig them  up again.

It is good fun. I can always find the new ones even if she shuts me in the house when she is outside planting. I also like to dig when I go on walks. I have made some very good holes on the Race Hill you may have seen them.

There are lots of plants in the garden with interesting woody bits to chew. I am not really allowed to chew the plants, but if I am in the garden on my own, I can't help doing it.
Dogs like to chew things. Sometimes Trish cuts bits off the plants, so really I am helping her. She doesn't need to cut them if I chew them up first. I don't know why she gets cross.

Sometimes Trish looks really bored in the garden. She sits there and reads a book or the newspaper, or even closes her eyes! I go and look for my ball but sometimes they all seem to have disappeared. I don't know where they go. When that happens I find a corner and start digging, Trish soon wakes up then!

If I am lucky she goes to find my bubble machine, I run all over the garden jumping and catching the bubbles.

Trish never has time to get bored when I am around, she is very lucky living with me.

What might have happened to Tom's tennis balls?

Do you think Tom is really helpful in the garden? Do you know a dog who digs?

Do your mum or dad like sitting in the garden?
