Students respond to other students additions about their local area with short factual additions or clarifications, thus forming early steps in meaningful co-construction.

Students seek further clarification from responses, identifying a specific request for further information by generating WikiLinks to aspects of overriding themes

Each of these facts is added to with further information and sub sections.


Students respond to the clarification request through the WikiLink that has been created by explaining further. Students do this both in isolation and through collaborative opportunities with other students from multiple sources.

Each fact about Reading is sub divided multiple times by different learners; clarifying and expanding upon information left about Reading by previous learners.


Students co-construct with other students by sub-dividing their responses and aspects of the subject matter . Students thus create multiple hierarchies of WikiLinks, each with both self-contained and cross referencing content.


Students clarify the relationship between their chosen subject matter and larger scale issues by building on their subdivided multiple hierarchies through cross-linking and multiple co-construction with other students from a range of sources.
