Creating and developing musical ideas - composing skills 2. Pupils should be taught how to: improvise, developing rhythmic and melodic material when performing explore, choose, combine and organise musical ideas within musical structures.

Try allowing pupils to record and evaluate their musical ideas through embedding sound recordings in Forums ,on Custom Pages or by Adding Documents. Pupils could maintain musical ePortfolios  of their explorations with sound.
