Vision for the School

For all our pupils to be happy,safe and sucessful in their learning and their relationship,

and for all adults (staff,parents,stakeholders) to work in the best interests of the children.

New Town Primary School was built in 1864 originally for 1408 children.

It looks now very much as it did then with a few exceptions, the outside toilets have gone, and no more coal fires.

In the school we have old records, photographs and pieces of work from as far back as the 1900’s.
