If it is necessary to close the school for any reason:
Students taking public examinations are advised to complete outstanding course work, or homework assignments. This is an ideal opportunity to plan a comprehensive revision programme. Senior students have copies of revision guides for various subjects which they should be using regularly at home. In addition, personalised learning activities can be found for students in Key Stage 4 at: www.bbc.co.uk/schools/gcsebitesize/ www.bbcbitesize.com
Students of all ages with unread novels at home are encouraged to use any additional time to read for pleasure.
