Getting ready for Parental Engagement on-line
Please email office@bulmershe.wokingham.sch.uk to update your contact details. We need your email address and mobile phone number so that we can create you an account on the new parent portal which is going live in September 2010. Please click here for details. As an Eco School, we will also be cutting down on the amount of printing we do so will be sending newsletters via email soon. Please help us to use less paper by providing your email address. If you would still like a printed copy, please just let us know. |

Free Swimming for Under 16's
Wokingham Borough Council and its partners have joined the National Free Swimming Programme from January 1st 2010 until March 31st 2011. The programme encourages an active lifestyle for those aged 16 years and under. Please click on the link to the right to see more details. |

Free Computers/Laptops Available
If you have children in years 3 - 9
Can you apply for a free laptop/computer and Internet access?
You may be able to qualify for a Home Access grant if you: • Answer yes to three questions in Section one AND • Answer yes to at least one question in Section two
Section One: Are you a parent or guardian responsible for and living with a child….. …who is in school years 3 to 9? …who attends a state-maintained school in England full time? …who has not already had a computer from a Home Access Grant or similar programme, such as Computers for Pupils?
Section Two: Do you receive at least one of the following? • Free school meals for your child • Income based Jobseeker’s Allowance • Income support • Child Tax Credit but not Working Tax Credit and an income of less than £16,040 • Guaranteed Pension Credit (not Savings Credit) • Income-based Employment Support Allowance • Support under Part VI of the Immigration and Asylum Act 1999
