Bulmershe Trio are Regional Carting Champions


The Bulmershe School Karting Team of Curtis Mitchell, Jack West and Connor Tagg roared into the National Finals after winning their regional competition.

 

After finishing second in the semi finals held at Premier Karting in Woodley the boys headed to Daytona Sandown Park in a confident mood.  The regional finals were made up of 18 schools from the South of England so the boys faced some stiff competition.
 

The boys now compete in the National Finals to be held at Daytona Milton Keynes on Saturday 27th March.

 
Young Chef Competition    
 
Aleksander Ganava and Paulynne Thornstrom came 2nd in the Young Chef Competition. They competed against over 300 students through the heats to gain their place in the finals. Once dressed in their chef's white it was hard to distinguish them from the professionals.
 
At 9.00am on Monday morning it looked like we might have to pull out of the competition as our Sous Chef was too ill to come to school but Paulynne stepped into the Sous Chef's place and along with the strong leadership from Aleks they calmly cooked up the most amazing dish.
