MESSAGE FROM THE HEAD TEACHER

Roman Hill has a long tradition of educating generations of children from the local area. At Roman Hill Middle School we aim to achieve the highest standards.

I have an excellent team of teachers and support staff; experienced, enthusiastic and fully committed to providing every opportunity for all the children to achieve their best. We encourage every child to develop a real sense of pride, confidence and self-discipline whilst in our care. Every child also has a right to learn, to feel safe and happy during these vital school years.

We expect good behaviour. We are firm, fair, and positively reward our pupils whenever the opportunity presents itself.

Our facilities are extensive, offering lots of extra curricular clubs for your child to enjoy.

The Ofsted report from April 2008 notes that: An unusually large number of parents and carers contacted inspectors to tell of their overwhelming support and appreciation for Roman Hill Middle School. Inspectors agree with parents, and the school's self-evaluation that Roman Hill Middle is a good and improving school.

You will find a warm welcome at Roman Hill Middle.
