All about us
Stonham Aspal Primary School is situated in a pleasant village on the A1120, 13 miles from Ipswich, 32 miles from Norwich, and 8 miles from the nearest town, which is Stowmarket.
The school serves eight communities - Stonham Aspal, Little Stonham, Earl Stonham (part), Coddenham, Coddenham Green, Crowfield, Pettaugh (part) and Mickfield.
The building is a mixture of old and new, with extensions built in 1953, 1969, 1972, 1993, 1997, 2000, 2003 and 2007. The original building dates from 1845.
The school has seven permanent classrooms. The school hall is used for Physical Education, Drama, Music and daily Collective Worship. The school has its own kitchen and healthy, nutritious meals are served each day in the hall.
Outside is a large and attractive playing field, a large playground with a patio area, recently supplemented play apparatus, a conservation area, a vegetable garden and pond.
