Brookfield was in the the top 100 non-selective schools in the country for GCSE performance. Please see letters from David Laws, Minister of State for Schools to the left of this page.

Brookfield is an over-subscribed 11 to 18 Comprehensive School with a student population of approximately 1,300 including 300 in the Sixth form. We converted to Academy status on 1 April 2011 retaining our specialism as a Sports College. More....
