The 'My Preferences' feature allows you to specify how you want the cLc to work for you.
From this page you can change the following cLc Viewing and Editing settings:
Name Display
Allows you to choose how you want you name to appear with in the platform on forum posts etc. This is applicable to Adults only.
HTML/WYSIWYG Editor
Allows you to choose which WYSIWYG editor you want to use.
File Upload Type
Allows you to choose to use:
Default HTML Upload: this is used for single file uploads.
Bulk Upload (Drag and Drop functionality): when this is enabled it allows you to bulk upload multiple files and folders to Resources & My Resources (Please note: You will require the installation of Java Runtime Environment on your computer. For more information about Java click here)
Flash Upload: when this is enabled it allows you to bulk upload multiple files and folders to Resources & My Resources. This tool removes firewall issues that can occasionally be encountered with the Java bulk upload tool. (Please note: You will require the installation of Flash Player Version 8 or above).
Display 'Not Live' Groups
Allows you to choose to see any groups that are not live. These will appear in the Nav bar.
Please note, this functionality is only available to editors, owners and cLc managers. Editors & owners must be a member of the not live group in order for it to appear in their Nav bar.
Instant messaging
Tick the box if you would like to be alerted when you have received an instant message. If you do not have this box ticked you will not be alerted and will need to check for new messages in your inbox.
Resources Display
There are two different display views of your ‘My Resources’ and 'Resources' (only applicable to editors, owners & cLc Managers)
Change the display view by clicking in the radio box next to the view you prefer and clicking save at the bottom of the page.
Disabled Javascript Support
If your Internet Browser does not support Javascript, tick this box. This will ensure that features of the site that usually rely on Javascript, will still work.
Please note: Microsoft Internet Explorer and Mozilla Firefox both support Javascript. This option should only be enabled when Javascript is not supported such as when a screen-reader is being used.
Timeout warning type
Select whether you would like the timeout warning message to display in your My Panel (it will appear in red text, above the My Homepage link), or as a popup.
